Join us for a special presentation by Ish Martinez, the preeminent historian of the Hispanic resorts of the Hudson Valley and author of Las Villas of Plattekill and Ulster County.

Ish was born in the Bronx, is of Puerto Rican heritage, and grew up in Plattekill, NY, where his parents owned a villa called Sunny Acres Hotel. He grew up living and working in the villa industry and has an in-depth knowledge of the era. Ish has been interviewed on radio and TV, and given numerous presentations on the subject of Las Villas.
