About the Event

Please join us for a profound and intimate evening as we welcome authors Jennifer Krebs (Stumbling Blocks) and Michelle Friedman (Divine Corners).

Both of these poignant works add incredible complexity to our understanding of the Holocaust survivor generation. Together, Krebs and Friedman will delve into the profound experiences and legacies of their parents, exploring the lasting, intergenerational impacts those experiences had on the children who came after them.

This special author talk offers a deeply personal look at trauma, resilience, family history, and the unique intersections of the Jewish refugee experience right here in the Catskills.

Featured Books & Authors:

  • Jennifer Krebs, author of Stumbling Blocks: A Second-Generation Holocaust Memoir

  • Michelle Friedman, author of Divine Corners: In the Shadow of the Holocaust on a Catskills Chicken Farm

Book Signing: Stick around after the discussion! Both books will be available for purchase, and the authors will be available for a signing session following the event.
