The laughs are back in the Catskills! Join us at Shadowland Stages for the Borscht Belt Comedy Club, happening every third Saturday of the month in beautiful Ellenville.
For Duolingo lovers, second generation Latin Americans, and native Spanish speakers, the Borscht Belt Comedy Club is trying something Nuevo for April: a Spanish-language night of chistes, risa, y aplauso.
"Soy Laura Bolivar, comediante venezolana viviendo en Nueva York desde el 2015. Hago stand-up en español (y a veces en ingles, con acento y todo). Me he presentado en clubes como El Improv, Broadway Comedy Club y The Stand, salí en un especial de comedia en Amazon Prime y en 2023 me gane el premio a Mejor Comediante en los Hispanics American Awards (si existe y no fue mi mama la unica que votó).
He compartido tarima con cracks como Marcello Hernandez, Poly Diaz, Emilio Lovera y Manuel Angel Redondo, y tambien llevo mi show a otras ciudades de EE.UU. Ademas, subo videos de comedia a Instagram y TikTok, donde ya me siguen mas de 100 mil personas entre las dos. Me encuentras como @SoyLauraBolivar.

This month we're keeping it just about as wholesome as May flowers, so bring the whole gang to the Borscht Belt Comedy Club for a feel-good night of raucous laughs.
Matt Goldich is a longtime writer for Late Night with Seth Meyers. He has also performed stand-up on Late Night, and appeared in numerous sketches on the show as well. His stand-up has also been featured on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, as well as his album The Matt Goldich Guarantee, which is regularly featured on Sirius XM Radio. As a writer, Matt has also written for many other shows, including The Late Show with David Letterman, the Emmy Awards, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He has also won two Daytime Emmys, and been nominated for five Primetime Emmys and four Writers Guild of America Awards. He has also appeared on Comedy Central's @midnight and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
