What a Year! Help us make the next one even sweeter.
In little more than a year, the Borscht Belt Museum has gone from concept to cultural icon. We acquired our historic home in Ellenville, replaced its leaky roof and created a pop up exhibition that continues to draw crowds — and rave reviews. Oh, and we also launched Borscht Belt Fest, an arts and food extravaganza that brought thousands of people to the streets of Ellenville.
But there’s still so much to do.
That’s because building a museum is expensive and we need YOUR help to achieve our goals. With Rosh Hashanah just around the corner, can we count on your support for the New Year?
In addition to funding an exciting array of fresh programming, your contribution is an investment in the future, allowing us carry out critical repair work on our century-old home and ensuring the museum’s growing collection of Borscht Belt ephemera is well protected during the winter months ahead.
We hope you agree that a world-class museum that honors and preserves the Borscht Belt resort era is more important than ever. From stand-up comedy and cuisine to modern notions of leisure, the Borscht Belt forever changed America, and we’re determined to make sure this underappreciated period in U.S. history get its due. Please consider making a generous, tax-deductible donation to the museum today.
And for those of you who celebrate Rosh Hashanah, we wish you a happy, healthy New Year!
