THE PANEL:
EDDY FRIEDFELD is a film and entertainment journalist and historian. He is the co-author of the autobiographies Caesar’s Hours with Sid Caesar; Directed by James Burrows with James Burrows, and worked with Mel Brooks on his autobiography All About Me. He is also working on a book on the history of comedy. He was the Senior Consultant for the Emmy Nominated documentary Make ’Em Laugh: The Funny Business of America
DAVID MARGOLICK is a renowned American journalist, author, and contributing editor at Vanity Fair who specializes in legal affairs, culture, and politics. He is the author of the 2025 biography "When Caesar Was King: How Sid Caesar Reinvented American Comedy," for which he conducted extensive interviews with Mel Brooks.
DANNY FINGEROTH is a prominent American comic book writer, editor, and pop culture historian. He specializes in the intersection of Jewish and American culture, appearing at venues like the Smithsonian and lecturing on comic history.
